The General Overseer of Faith Assembly Prophetic Ministry
Incorporated, Prophet (Bishop)Onyeke
Onyeke ,today confirmed the Federal
Government’s prediction that Nigeria will bounce back from recession
soonest.
The fire brand Prophet made the confirmation in an exclusive prophecy
made available to DAILY POST as part of activities marking his 48th
year birthday celebration held at Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area
of Delta State.
The cleric who claimed to have prophesied the current economic
recession in Nigeria unnoticed in 2015 said,” What we are passing
through today, I said it. I said it that this country, there will be
recession and after then, there will be joy. And I think any moment from
now, there will be joy. March, April, May, June and July, there will be
smile in this country.”
” I’m not proud, but I believe people speak for me. There was no way
for me to let the world know of the prophecy then. I just made the
announcement that this is what the Lord said and this is what is going
to happen. Even as I’m talking to you right now, between now and July,
this country will smile.”
Prophet Onyeke stated that God allowed the economic hardship in the country for Nigerians to learn.
He enjoined Nigerians not to blame the Federal Government or any
other person including President Muhammadu Buhari because God is aware
of the economic woes in the country.
The Prophet noted that it is God Almighty that is effecting the ”
Change” in Nigeria and not President Muhammadu Buhari, stressing that,”
We cannot just give up. This is God’s own regime and not Buhari’s
regime.”
” God is aware that Buhari will be there and God is aware that Buhari
is there” pointing out that without God, Buhari wouldn’t have been
there.”
Prophet Onyeke also urged nigerians to pray for the will of God to be
done in Nigeria as well as the recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari
to return back to the country instead of wishing him dead.
Onyeke advised the Federal Government to always plan for the future
just as he urged Christians to always pray and stop criticising each
other publicly.
” We Christians should not go against or hate ourselves. We should
not correct each other outside while there are enemies. The church must
come together so that whatever we say we hold.”
Prophet Onyeke also called on other clerics to stop preaching
“prosperity” and start educating their members on ” prophecy,
deliverance, and salvation.”
