It’s A Lie! DSS Never Arrested, Threaten Me’ – 2face Says

Embattled singer, 2face Idibia, has denied a widespread report that he was kidnapped and threatened by
operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) before he announced the cancellation of the protest he scheduled for today, February 6, 2017.
The singer has faced severe criticisms from different quarters after he announced the cancellation of the protests for ‘security reasons’.
He has now broken his silence since he made the shocking announcement, denying the DSS kidnap story as he urged Nigerians to embrace social media protest as against the physical movement.
He wrote on his gram this morning, “Thanks for the concern guys. I’m fine and free. Reports about DSS arrest are not true. We are still compiling your responses for the leadership. State your opinion on social media with the hashtag #IStandWithNigeria. Peace! One love always.
